The POSHAN/ MCWPP (The Mother and Child Wellbeing Partnership Program) in Nepal is being implemented in Sudurpaschim, Karnali, Lumbini, and Madhesh Provinces, targeting five districts with high rates of poverty, poor health and nutrition outcomes, and high rates of food and nutrition insecurity. The POSHAN/ MCWPP aims to improve the wellbeing of children and their mothers in targeted districts of Nepal. Activities aim to strengthen the health and nutrition system; improve care and feeding practices; provide nutrition education, enhance dietary diversity, increase household food security; promote food safety and hygiene; and women’s empowerment and leadership for decision making. The POSHAN project is implemented in partnership with iDE and MAP International.

  1. Learning and Knowledge Management Officer based in Central Office, Kathmandu (up to May 31, 2025 with possibility of extension)

The Learning and Knowledge Management Officer will be responsible for driving the learning and knowledge management of project, creating and supporting evidence generation, synthesis and knowledge management process, systems including product development and dissemination. The Incumbent will work closely with the MEAL Manager to prepare different learning and knowledge products based on the learning and best practices generated from the field. This position will help to improve the capacity of relevant partner staff and support the program team in learning generation and in making evidence-based adjustments to the project. This position will also work closely with the LINK Manager to mainstream project learning and knowledge generation at wider organizational priority areas.
