GOALS

Over the course of five years (2026-2030), CARE Nepal aims to contribute to change the lives of approximately 1.6 million women and young/adolescent girls.

IMPACT GROUPS

We cannot eradicate poverty and achieve social equality in Nepal while inequality based on sex persists. By focusing on women and girls, CARE aims to help entire households and communities achieve development and inclusion. Thus, CARE will partner with and target its impact for economically and socially marginalized women and girls—with a specific focus on:

Level 1 Priority

• Women, Young/adolescent Girls (10-24)

Level 2 Priority
• Dalit, Ethnic and Indigenous minority people

Focus Geographical Area:

Level 1 Priority
• Madhesh Province
• Karnali Province
• Lumbini Province

Level 2 Priority

• Terai

• Western Hills/Mountains

Additional Engagements

CARE Nepal engages with other groups, communities, organizations outside the above priorities when necessary to:
a. deliver/achieve changes that impact the above priority groups
b. deliver humanitarian assistance in response to crisis or disaster
