CARE Nepal handed over fully-equipped birthing center in Bhagwati Basic Health Service Center (BHSC) in Nalgad Municipality-12 in Jajarkot, Nepal. The newly constructed birthing center was jointly inaugurated by Nalgad Municipality Deputy Mayor Sarita Singh and Deputy Country Director of CARE Nepal Mona Sherpa.
The birthing center was constructed in coordination with Nalgad Municipality with financial support from Allison Cornell and partnership between CARE Nepal and Hilly Region Development Campaign Jajarkot under its Increasing Access to Maternal Health Services in Remote Communities Project.
